Hi! I am Andrea Adelfio, an astrophysicist in search of cosmic explosions, among the most energetic phenomena in the universe.

I'm also an enthusiast of programming and computing projects - whether it's a matter of simulating the birth of a galaxy, or tracking my never ending expenses.

I am especially a nature lover and wildlife photographer: you can easily find me standing still deep inside forests, listening for curious and rare birds; or you can find me roaming around alpine lakes, or following an octopus in the depths of the sea.

In the end, I’m simply fascinated by small details — whether they shine silently in the sky or move quietly behind the corner of our eyes.
